Website Terms of Use

Last updated: 19 August 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern access to and use of northfield.services and any content we publish on it. They are a legally binding agreement between you and Northfield Inc Ltd. They do not govern payroll or pension-administration services — those are covered only by the written documents we issue and you accept for that work. See our Client Service Terms.

2. Who we are

This website is operated by Northfield Inc Ltd, trading as Northfield. Registered office: 22-28 Wood Street, Doncaster, DN1 3LW. Company number: 16658191. Contact: info@northfield.services, 0333 050 5588.

3. Information on this website

Content on this website is general information about UK PAYE payroll, workplace pensions and how we work. It is not legal, tax, employment, accounting, pension, financial or investment advice. Tax, PAYE, automatic enrolment and employment status depend on facts. You should take advice suited to your circumstances before you rely on anything published here.

We take care to keep information current, but law and HMRC practice change. We do not warrant that every page is complete or up to date at the moment you read it. Figures, examples and process descriptions are illustrative unless we say otherwise in a signed quotation.

4. No client, worker or agency relationship

Using this website, reading our pages, downloading information or submitting an enquiry does not create a client, worker, employment, agency or partnership relationship with us. A formal relationship starts only when the relevant written terms have been issued and accepted — for example a service agreement and, where required, a data-processing agreement.

5. Enquiries and quotations

The contact form is an invitation to treat, not an offer. We may decline work. Any quotation is subject to the information you give us, our checks, and the signed service documents. We do not publish prices on this website. Do not include National Insurance numbers, full bank details or copies of identity documents in the public form.

You must ensure information you send us is accurate and that you have the right to send it. If you send someone else’s data, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

We may suspend or block access if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

7. Intellectual property

We or our licensors own the intellectual-property rights in the website, name, branding, text, graphics, layout and other materials. You may view, print or download extracts for personal or internal business use in considering our services. You must not copy, modify, distribute or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission, except where UK law allows (for example limited quotation for criticism or review).

8. Third-party websites

We may link to HMRC, The Pensions Regulator, the ICO, ACAS or other third-party sites. Those links are for convenience. We do not control their content, security, availability or privacy practices and we are not responsible for them. Their terms and privacy notices apply when you use them.

9. Availability and security

We aim to keep the website available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or virus-free access. We may suspend, withdraw or change the site without notice for maintenance, security or operational reasons. You are responsible for your own device, browser and internet connection.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, this website, or from reliance on its content, including loss of profit, business, data or goodwill and any indirect or consequential loss. This does not affect liability for payroll or pension-administration services under a signed agreement.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded. If you use the site as a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

11. Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Notice and Cookie Notice explain how we handle personal data and cookies. By using the site you acknowledge those notices.

12. Changes

We may revise these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the website after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. General

If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights under these terms. We may assign them in connection with a reorganisation or sale of our business. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us in relation to use of the website.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your home courts.
