This notice explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on northfield.services, what we store on your device, and how you can control it.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixels. They can keep the site working, remember choices, measure use and support advertising. This notice covers all of those technologies.
2. The rules that apply
We use cookies in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK data-protection law. Strictly necessary cookies can be set without consent because the site cannot function properly without them. Optional cookies (preferences, analytics and marketing) are not set unless you choose to allow them.
We do not currently set optional cookies, so this site does not show a cookie-preference banner. Personal data collected through cookies or similar technology is also covered by our Privacy Notice.
3. How we use cookies
We group cookies as follows:
- Strictly necessary — required to load the site, keep it secure, and send a contact-form message when you submit one
- Preferences — remember settings that are not essential to security or core function
- Analytics — understand how the site is used
- Marketing — measure campaigns or show relevant advertising
Optional analytics, preference and marketing cookies are not currently active. If we add them later, this table will be updated and a banner will offer a choice before they run. We will not use pre-ticked boxes for non-essential cookies.

5. Your choices
Because we do not currently set optional cookies, there is no “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You can still block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the site working as intended, including the contact form.
You can also use browser or extension controls to block third-party requests such as Google Fonts. The site will still function, though type may fall back to a system font.
If we introduce optional cookies, we will add a banner and a way to change your choice without needing to clear all site data.
6. Third parties
This site loads fonts from Google and, on form submit, sends enquiry data to FormSubmit. Those providers process technical or form data in order to deliver the resource or the message. They are not used to run advertising on this site.
If we later embed maps, video, analytics or advertising, those third parties may set their own cookies. We will name them in this table before they are used, and we will ask for consent where PECR requires it.
